Parking Areas

Parking at BGC can be quite a challenge, especially during peak hours. And “peak hours” can often mean any time after 8 a.m.

Additional public parking spaces have recently been put up in the district, but more and more people have also been flocking to the area for business or leisure. A welcome development that may help is the addition of signage in parking buildings, indicating the number of available slots. Valet services are also offered in some areas.

Most parking spaces are accessible to commercial buildings and retail districts. If you find the need to park farther from your destination, just keep in mind that BGC has a pedestrian-friendly design. Most shops, offices, services, and restaurants are within walking distance of each other. Or you can takethe BGC bus or a taxi.

Taking public transportation, or using Uber or Grab, may also be a better option. This will not only help you save on the time you’ll spend looking for parking, but may also be cheaper compared to paying high parking fees for a full day.

As of 2016, the typical parking rates in the BGC area are:

  • On weekdays, P40 for the first 4 hours, and P50/hour for succeeding hours
  • On weekends, P40 for the first 4 hours and P20/hour for succeeding hours

Other tips to keep in mind:

  • Come early, preferably before 8 a.m.
  • Several parking facilities have lower rates, but they get filled up more quickly. We’ve listed some of these facilities below. If you want to park in these places, make sure to come early.
  • Parking in no-parking zones can cause your car to be towed, with a fine of P2,000.
  • A waiting driver may help avoid towing, but only for a limited time.
