In many Filipino communities, a place of worship plays a central role and is often where residents converge. The BGC community is no exception. All around the area are places of worship for various religions and denominations.
Here's a list of some of the churches found in and around the BGC.
St. Michael's Parish
Located at 10th Avenue cor. 39th Street, St. Michael's Parish is the Catholic parish church of the BGC community. It offers daily morning masses, and an additional evening mass every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Sundays, it has 4 mass schedules, including a Children's Mass at 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod
Found amid the garden features of Skypark at the top level of SM Aura shopping mall, the Catholic Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod has an eye-catching cave-like architecture with wood and marble finishes. It holds masses at 12:15 and 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and at 12:00 and 6:00 p.m. every Saturday. There are 5 mass scheduled on Sundays, starting at 10:00 a.m.
St. Michael the Archangel Chapel
Not to be confused with St. Michael's Parish, the St. Michael the Archangel Chapel is found at MRT Avenue (formerly Bayani Road), in the Philippine Army National Headquarters compound. It holds three masses every Monday to Friday, two masses on Saturdays and 8 masses on Sundays.
Santuario de San Antonio Parish
Located at 3117 McKinley Road, Forbes Park, Santuario de San Antonio Parish Church is just a short drive away from BGC. It holds four masses from Monday to Friday, five masses on Saturdays, and seven masses on Sundays. This 25-year-old Catholic church is one of the landmarks in the area.
Church of the Holy Trinity
Found at 48 McKinley Road, Forbes Park, the Church of the Holy Trinity is an Anglican/Episcopal church that has been serving the Manila community since 1948. It has three Sunday services:
- Holy Eucharist (Traditional Language) service at 7:30 a.m.
- Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.
- Sung Holy Eucharist (Modern Language) service at 9:30 a.m.
New Life The Fort
New Life The Fort is a Christian church with its own place of worship known as Life Center, found at the 4th level of Market! Market!. Life Center is the venue for church services every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and every Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The church holds 6 services on Sundays at Cinema 7 of Market! Market!.
Every Nation Philippines
Every Nation Philippines, better known as Victory Philippines, is a Christian church with worship centers in various parts of Metro Manila. In BGC, the center is known as Victory Fort Bonifacio and is found at Every Nation Building on 32nd Street cor. University Parkway. It holds several adult worship services on Sundays, plus separate services for a youth group every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
